Olive Wood Mezuzah Case

This beautiful wooden mezuzah is crafted with every single detail in mind.

The commandment, “And you shall write them on the doorposts of your house and upon your gates.” (Deuteronomy 6:9) is fulfilled when a mezuzah scroll is rolled up and placed inside.

This mezuzah is made of authentic olive wood from Bethlehem. Each piece of wood is unique, and as a result each mezuzah will have a different grain that runs throughout.

Before the start of the design this item was prayed over and as a result each detail was methodically considered. We chose to construct this by drilling a hole to encase the mezuzah scroll which allowed the maker to consider the act of our Lord and Savior Yeshua (Jesus) being placed inside of the tomb after his crucifixion. A 3/8” wooden plug closes the opening, much like the stone which was rolled in place..The nail holes which are placed at the top and the bottom of either end symbolizes the nails which pierced His hands.
The details which were chosen, is the traditional Hebrew letter Shin. Followed by imagines to represent the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the sacrificed Lamb of God, and only son Yeshua Hamashiach, and the Spirit of God represented by a dove.

This mezuzah will hold a 2.75 X 2.75 scroll. A non kosher printed scroll can be purchased with this item.
